Appeared in the Robertson Co. tax rolls for 1812 and the 1820 and 1830 census. Served in the war of 1812 in the 2nd regiment of the west TN militia with Colonel Lowery, Lt Colonel Hammond. His wife recieved a pension for his service. In 1832 he sold his land and moved from Robertson County.
Isaac married Margaret (Peggy) Dorris, daughter of Samuel Dorris and Martha Hughes, in 1816 in Robertson County, Tennessee. (Margaret (Peggy) Dorris was born between 1785 and 1790 in Hardy County, Virginia.)
