General Notes:
YETTIE GOODALL was born 13 Jan 1877 in Butler Co, and died 28 Oct 1957. She was a daughter of Joseph Hiram (1833 - 1906) and Josephine Young Goodall (1838 - 1929). Yettie's father came from Virginia. Her grandfather is BELIEVED to have come from England. In an era of high infant mortality, she reared all of her 15 children to adulthood. Some older persons yet remember the long line as she led her children, single file, through the women's and children's door when they went to church. She was often sought to help with the care of some ailing child. She was outspoken, inclined to enjoy conversation, and had a strong interest in politics. The family lived in the Eden community for a while, and she ran a store and a post office.
