Nothing more is really known about him. There are some deed records in Muhlenberg for Presley W. Smith as late as 1836, and in 1851 one Presley W. Smith was exempted from paying county levy due to age and infirmity. There were other Presley W. Smiths but none where his age would prohibit paying his taxes. So nothing is known with
certainty about this son.
