Henry Hines Sr

  General Notes:

Nannie's grandfather was born in England and came to Virginia at the age of eighteen. Her mother's great-grandfather Henry Hines Sr., was reared in Campbell Co, VA. He was a soldier in the Revolutionary War. The four children by his second marriage to ELIZABETH HARVEY HINES were; SIMEON W., BARBARA, NANCY, WALTON.
The Hines all settled in Butler Co sometime between 1803 and 1820. Henry Hines Sr., and children had a good English education. He was prosperous planter in Virginia and owned many slaves.

Henry married Elizabeth Harvey. (Elizabeth Harvey was born in Virginia.)
