I, R.L. Troutman, being of sound mind and disposing memory do make and publish the following as my last will and testament:
I desire all my debts paid first
I give and devise my property as follows:
To my sister, M.E. Meredith, Fifteen Hundred Dollars To my nephew, C. T. Meredith, One Thousand Dollars To my sister, Ida Carroll, One Thousand Dollars To my nephew, T. C. Carroll, One Thousand Dollars To my sister, Emma Combs, Three Thousand Dollars To my niece, Mary P. Combs, Fifteen Hundred Dollars To my Nephew, M. L. Combs, Fifteen Hundred Dollars and my shares of stock in the Bullitt County Bank To my nephew, C. F. Troutman, One Thousand Dollars To my nephew, W. B. Troutman, One Thousand Dollars To my cousin, Mollie Nuss, One Hundred Dollars To my cousin, Annie Troutman, One Hundred Dollars To my cousin, Robert Troutman, One Hundred Dollars To Ada B. Troutman, One Hundred Dollars To H.K. Deeson (sp) Fifty Dollars To Bullitt Lodge No. 155 Free and Accepted Masons, Fifty Dollars To the Baptist Church of Shepherdsville, Ky., Twenty Five Dollars To J. F. Combs, Five Hundred Dollars To H.H. Combs, Two Hundred and Fifty Dollars To the Masonic and Widows and Orphans Home of Kentucky, Fifty Dollars To Frank Jonas, Colored, Fifty Dollars.
The remainder of my estate shall be divided into six equal parts and I give and devise one share to my sister, M. E. Meredith, - one share to my sister, Emma Combs, one share to my sister, Ida Carroll, - one share to the children of my sister, Minnie Hune (sp),- one share to the children of my brother, John Troutman and one share to the children of my brother, C. F. Troutman.
I nominate J.F. Combs and T. C. Carroll as executors of this my last will and testament, and authorize and empower them to sell my personal and real estate publicly or privately on such terms as may be best for my estate and to make deeds of conveyance to the purchasers.
Given under my hand this 29th day of September, 1921.

The foregoing writing was declared by R. L. Troutman to be his last will and testament and we signed same as witnesses at his request and in his presence.

Codicil:
The bequest of Fifteen Hundred Dollars ($1500.00) to my sister, M.E. Meredith is hereby revoked and cancelled. I give and devise to Winfrey Meredith, son of my nephew, C. T. Meredith, the sum of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) this 9th day of March, 1923.

I, Lindsay Ridgway Clerk of the Bullitt County Court, in the State of Kentucky, certify that the foregoing last will and testament of R. L. Troutman, deceased, was on the 9th July, 1923, produced in open Court and proved by the oaths of S. T. Hornback and G. T. Wilson, subscribing witnesses thereto, to have been signed and acknowledged by R. L. Troutman, to be his last will and testament, in their presence and that they attested same at his request, in his presence and in the presence of each other, it was also proved that the said testator, R. L. Troutman signed and acknowledged the codicil to said last will and testament, in their presence and in the presence of each other, full capacity of mind of said testator at the time of making said will and codicil was also proved and same being fully proved as required by law was admitted to probate and ordered to be recorded as the last will and testament of E. L. Troutman, deceased, which with this certificate I have truly recorded in my office this the 10th day of July, 1923.
