bullet  General Notes:

From: http://www.geocities.com/calvin_dorris/isaacdorris.html

The county court of Robertson Co. ordered Samuel to do road work on the Logan Road from Bone Lick Branch to Mrs. Whitings Samuel sold his land in May 1832 and is believed to have moved to Logan Co KY. I do not know when he moved to Hickory Co Missouri, but his widow was there by 1850. In 1812 he enlisted in Captain William Whitesides Company of Mounted Rangers in St. Claire Co., Illinois. He went back to Robertson Co. TN in 1816 where he remained until 1832. They were in Logan Co Kentucky in 1834 where he and his wife sold out their claim to 238 acres on the Red River which Millie had inherited from her father John Pitt. His wife Milly was a widow by 1850 and was living in Hikory Co., Missouri
