Muhlenberg Co KY Deed Book 11, p. 251; Henry Stom Appraisement and
Division of Estate. We Moses Wickliffe, Moses F Glenn, George W Haydon, three of five commissioners, hereto appointed, being ordered of the County Court of Muhlenberg County, having meeting at the late residence of Henry Stom, deceased, and being first sworn, proceeded to value and appraise property of the estate of said decedent in manner and form as
followeth:
Negro girl Emeline at $350; 1 Negro woman and child $400; 1 Negro
girl Lucinda $300; 1 Negro boy Franklin $300; 2 Negro boys Henderson & Thomas $400; a Negro boy Issac $500; a Negro boy Albert $550; a Negro girl mary Jane $400.
Thereupon the heirs of said estate drew lots for the above: Thomas
Carter who intermarried with Martha Stom, one of the aforesaid heirs,
drew the first mentioned slave Emeline; Thomas F Cundiff, who also
married Margaret Stom, one of the heirs aforesaid, the second, Eliza and Leonard Stom the third, Lucinda; Alney Stom the fourth, Franklin; Lucy Stom, the fifth, henderson and Thomas; Louisa Stom, the sixth, Issac; Eudoxia Stom, the seventh, Albert; and Nancy Stom the eighth, mary Jane.
Given under our hands this 27th day of December 1842. Moses Wickliffe,
Moses F Glenn, George W Haydon.
