" The Dorris' lived in an area of Station Camp (Sumner Co). Station Camp was a camp for long hunters in the 1700's They along with the Murrays, Honeycutts attended Station Camp Baptist Church in Christ around 1850-1890."

I believe there were 2 girls. Elizabeth born about 1812 and Nancy. Nancy
married a John Garrett November 26,1830. and named her first daughter
Rachel. His father was John Garrett Sr. and mother wasJenny McMurtry.
Elizabeth married Anderson Wicks about 1832. She later married Esiah
Dorris. Of course like u this is all speculation from information i gleened
from documents.. The McMurtrys and Garretts also moved to Indiana.
Simpson moved to Dyer Co, Tn around 1870 and later this family all moved
into Mo and Ark. I do have some info on the Dorris'. I have Rachel being
born in Maryland. She was the daughter of Samuel Dorris ans Martha Hughes
They later moved to NC. She died at the age of 91 living with one of her
children. Alsey also moved in Indiana.

Johnathan married Rachael Dorris, daughter of Samuel Dorris and Martha Hughes, about 1810 in North Carolina. (Rachael Dorris was born about 1787 in Maryland and died about 1856.)
