According to their son Champion's biography (History of Warrick Spencer and Perry Counties - August 1885, page 448), this couple had 13 children. Also, Jackson was still alive and living in Hammond Township, Spencer County, as of 1885.

Jackson married Mary D Jarboe, daughter of Jarrard Jarboe and Elizabeth Jefferson, on 8 Dec 1859 in Hancock County, Kentucky. (Mary D Jarboe was born about 1826 in Hancock County, Kentucky.)

Jackson next married Susan Elizabeth Decker before 1836 in Kentucky. (Susan Elizabeth Decker was born about 1816-1817 in Grayson County, Kentucky and died on 15 Sep 1859 in Breckenridge County, Kentucky.)
